Required Tags

Some tags are required at upload depending on the exact content of the pattern or the pattern source. Not applying required tags will result in the loss of upload permissions.

Tag	Use case
External Pattern	Any pattern that is not downloadable from Pattern Archive must use this tag.
Paid Pattern	External patterns that must be bought must use this tag.
Explicit Content, NSFW	Anything that is NSFW, artistic nudity, genitals, language or similar. If it would be considered "18+" it must have this tag.
Etsy, ko-fi, or other shop platform	Any external patterns that link to etsy or other platforms must include a tag for the location the pattern is bought. Example: If a pattern is sold on ko-fi, the tag used would be 'ko-fi' instead. If the pattern is sold in their own webstore, the name of the website is to be used.
ISBN, No ISBN	When tagging books the ISBN number should be tagged as per tagging-guidelines/tag-formatting and ISBN added. If a book does not have an ISBN use No ISBN as a tag to mark it for others to not look for one.
