Minimum Tagging

Tagging is the core of making Pattern Archive searchable and a great repository to use. The more precise our tagging is the better people can search the patterns here so it's expected that a minimum amount of tagging is done on every upload. Without these minimum tags patterns will be harder to find, anything less than this is discouraged as it makes someone else do extra work instead.

Tag Category	Description	Examples
Project Type	What kind of project is it?	3D project, Lampshade, Suncatcher.
Shape of project	What shape is the project?	Pill Panel, Square Panel, Panel lamp, Irregular Panel
Primary Topics	What does the pattern contain? This could be anything and is rather open ended.	Sports, Ball, Optical illusion, Fish, Animal, Space, Toys, Abstract, Dog
Methods Applied	If any sort of methods beyond Foil/Came is used.	Overlay, Paint, Fusing, Wire decoration, Empty space, Plating
Major Aspects	This consists of the extra things that aren't the primary topics.	Background, Borders, Hanging points, Agate slice.
