User Account

While Pattern Archive can be used without an account, there's lots of extra features provided to you when you make an account! Your account will never be used to track you, sell your data, serve you ads or require a subscription to use features of the site.

Accounts provide everyone with the following:

• Community voting on difficulty and rating.
• Favorites and completion tracking of patterns.
• Following other users.
• Uploading images of completed works.
• Blocking specific tags and setting your preferred measurement type globally.
• A customisable, shareable profile page.
• Autofill of information on things like reports.
• Following Sets and Collections.

Accounts as an author:

On top of the above, authors also get extra tools.

• Your name when listed as an author is linked to your profile.
• All of the patterns you are listed on as an author will be displayed on your profile.
• Pattern highlight of specific patterns you made that you want to show off.
