Roses Clock
The outer edge of this clock can be reinforced by tacking brass ball chain around the perimeter and covering it with solder. This creates a decorative border and also makes the clock more sturdy. The clock can be put in a standard wooden frame by drawing the pattern out to the appropriate size and shape.
To avoid seeing the quartz movement or its silhouette, use dense colors, opaque black, regular or colored mirror, etc. for the central portion of the clock face.
Make sure to check that the center hole is the correct size for the mounting shaft. If it is large, adjust by filling in with solder.
Clock should be 10" in diameter.
If desired, hour markers or numerals can be cut out of sheet foil, attached to the finished clock, and covered with solder.
