Moon Clock
The stars can be cut out of sheet foil, attached to the clock face, and covered with solder. Finish the starts with copper patina or leave them silver.
A glass tab can be added to the bottom to put into a fan lamp base to illuminate it. This makes a great clock/nightlight.
To avoid seeing the quartz movement or its silhouette, use dense colors, opaque black, regular or colored mirror, etc. for the central portion of the clock face.
Make sure to check that the center hole is the correct size for the mounting shaft. If it is large, adjust by filling in with solder.
